PowerLook 2100XL (A3)
The Premier Mirror Moving X-Ray Scanner that
Provides Great Productivity..
The
UMAX PowerLook 2100XL ia an A3 size scanner based on UMAX's premier
Mirror Moving Technology. It is ideal for applications which demand
large size scanning and high-quality image reproduction, yet is
affordable to a wide range of professionals including pre-press, image
bank, medical and engineering. With its Mirror Moving Technology, the
PowerLook 2100XL not only provides exceptional scanning speed and
productivity, but also becomes slighter and smaller than many other A3
scanners.
The PowerLook 2100XL performs at resolutions of 800x1600dpi and a
maximum of 9600dpi for outstanding image clarity and enlargement. At a
significantly lower price than you'd expect to pay for a high-end
scanner, the PowerLook 2100XL is doubtless your best choice.

Teleradiology & X-Ray Scanning
- You can use a Scanner to scan
X-Rays/Ultrasound's and send them for appraisal over the internet.
You will need a Transparency Adaptor
which is a special lid that fits on the scanner in place of the
standard lid. The transparency adaptor has a motor and light source
that shines light through the transparency so the scanner can pick up
the tonal details.
- Without an adaptor the scans would
appear black.
Many scanners can have small Transparency
Adaptors fitted to them, however only a few will do a good job!
One of the keys to sending X-Rays using email
is FILE SIZE,
too large and you won't make any friends (because they had to wait 2
hours for the file to download). Too little detail and you've wasted
your/their time!
- We can supply software
that allows you to get the balance between size and quality just
right!
Depending on the software and scanner
selection the total cost for a complete scanning solution is normally
between $500 for under A4 up to $6000 for A3 size units.
Enhanced Detail shown on X-Ray 2.
Only 30K file size!

MacUser Award
UMAX UK collected the Award for Best Scanner for the UMAX Powerlook
2100XL at the glittering MacUser Awards ceremony held at the Natural
History Museum in London this year presented by Jonathan Ross. This is
arguably the most prestigious award of the season and tops off a
stunning 2 weeks for the UMAX range of scanners. Noted for its high
quality results, sleek design and innovative Moving Mirror technology
the UMAX Powerlook 2100XL left the opposition in the scanner category
standing.
